About the Role
Responsibilities
Own and manage the end-to-end delivery of Oracle implementation and customization projects, from initiation through go-live and transition.
Lead multi-disciplinary Oracle delivery teams (functional, technical, integration, data, testing) across onshore and offshore locations.
Coordinate integration activities with internal and external systems, ensuring alignment across Oracle and non-Oracle landscapes.
Lead cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hyper care phases to ensure a smooth transition to operations.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery milestones, and acceptance criteria throughout the project lifecycle.
Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and applying best practices across Oracle delivery engagement
Required Technical Skills:
1. Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion Financials):
Implement, configure, and support Oracle Cloud Financials modules:
o General Ledger (GL)
o Accounts Payable (AP)
o Accounts Receivable (AR)
o Fixed Assets (FA)
o Cash Management (CM)
o Expense Management (EXM)
Conduct requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and business process mapping.
Prepare functional design documents (FDs) for reports, integrations, and extensions (RICE objects).
Support data migration and reconciliation activities.
Provide UAT (User Acceptance Testing) support and training for end users.
Collaborate with technical teams on integrations (OIC, BI Publisher, OTBI, etc.)
Manage configuration of Financial Reporting Studio (FRS) and Smart View reports.
2. Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials:
Ability to implement new modules as well as modify and enhance existing modules.
Analyze and support existing Oracle EBS Financial modules (R12 or 12.2).
Manage upgrade or migration projects from EBS to Oracle Cloud ERP.
Troubleshoot and resolve financial application issues, ensuring smooth operations.
Assist with data conversion and financial reconciliations during transitions.
3. Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) - Preferred:
Work with EPM Cloud modules such as:
o Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS / EPBCS)
o Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS)
o Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS)
Collaborate with finance stakeholders to streamline budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
Develop reports and dashboards integrating ERP and EPM data.
Required Hands-On Experience
Experience delivering 6-8 full-cycle Oracle Financials implementation
Led end-to-end Oracle Implementation projects (P2P and O2C)
Managed multiple workstreams (Functional, Technical, Integration, Data, Testing)
Managed onshore–offshore delivery models
Led cutover planning, go-live, and hyper care phases
Certifications:
Oracle Certified - Oracle Financials Cloud (General Ledger / Accounts Payables / Accounts Receivables)
Oracle Certified - Oracle E-Business Suite (General Ledger / Accounts Payables / Accounts Receivables)
Ideal Candidate Profile
Ex-employee of Oracle, Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, E&Y, PwC and IBM (minimum 3 years preferred)
Ability to travel to Qatar whenever required
Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills
Balanced understanding of both business and technical delivery challenges
