Project Sales Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sales Strategy:

  • Identify and prospect new project opportunities within the target market (e.g., Construction, Aluminum Manufacturer, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders: Consultants, Contractors, Developers, and Procurement Managers.

2. Technical Consultancy & Proposals:

  • Understand customer requirements and provide technical advice/solutions that best fit their project needs.
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Lead the preparation of commercial and technical offers (Quotations/Tenders), ensuring accuracy in pricing and specifications.
  • Coordinate with the internal estimation and technical support teams to prepare competitive bids.

3. Project Management & Follow-up:

  • Manage the sales process for long-cycle projects, ensuring constant follow-up with decision-makers.
  • Negotiate Contract/ Quotations terms, prices, and delivery timelines to close deals effectively.
  • Follow up on the project execution phase to ensure client satisfaction and timely collection of payments.

4. Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming mega-projects.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry conferences to represent the company.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Architecture) or any related technical field or relevant experience in similar industry.
  • Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in B2B project sales or technical sales within the [Glass, Façade, interior finishing] industry.
  • Language: Excellent command of English and Arabic (written and spoken).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Odoo).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
    • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
    • Willingness to travel as needed.
