HR Generalist

About the Role

Role Summary

As an HR Generalist at Mondi Egypt, you will play a key role in supporting our people strategy and ensuring a positive employee experience. You will be responsible for a broad range of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with local labor laws. Supporting managers and employees in navigating through the entire HR lifecycle will be part of your day-to-day job.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes and liaise with hiring managers to ensure timely and effective hiring.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and labor law compliance.
  • Manage employee relations and support conflict resolution.
  • Facilitate performance management and development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity in HRIS.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration in coordination.
  • Assist in implementing global and local HR projects and initiatives.
  • Promote Mondis values and drive employee engagement activities.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in a Human Resources related area
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience as an HR Generalist preferably in a multinational and manufacturing environment
  • Experience in all HR relevant processes, across the employee lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law and HR best practices
  • Strong customer service focus, with a high level of responsiveness
  • Applies solid judgment ensuring integrity, compliance, & confidentiality
  • Fluent in Arabic and English written and spoken, any other languages are considered a plus
