Asset Reliability Sales Engineer

About the Role

Role Purpose

NATCOM is looking for a commercially strong and technically credible Asset Reliability Sales Engineer to lead sales of predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and asset reliability solutions across one of our key industry verticals in Egypt. This person will own technical and commercial sales pursuits, identify customer needs, recommend the right reliability solution, and drive product sales across a portfolio of market-leading technologies designed to enhance the reliability, performance, and ongoing condition of critical industrial assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technical and commercial sales pursuits for NATCOM's asset reliability and predictive maintenance solutions.
  • Drive sales of both products and service contracts in line with company growth targets.
  • Understand customer operational and maintenance challenges, then translate them into practical technical solutions.
  • Support solution presentation, product demonstrations, technical discussions, and customer training where needed.
  • Prepare pre-bid scope qualification, costing, and commercial input.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across existing and prospective customers within the assigned industry vertical nationwide, supporting both account growth and new business development.
  • Work closely with NATCOM's sales and service teams to ensure strong delivery quality, customer satisfaction, and repeat business.
  • Maintain a healthy and closely managed sales pipeline, consistently generating new leads, advancing qualified opportunities, and tracking key pipeline KPIs such as lead volume, conversion progress, pipeline value, and sales activity. Communicate new opportunities, pipeline updates, and relevant market feedback to management on a regular basis.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a strong blend of industrial engineering knowledge, asset reliability exposure, and solution selling capability.

Required

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Proven experience in technical sales / solution selling within industrial or heavy industry environments.
  • Hands-on understanding of vibration analysis.
  • Strong background in mechanical / industrial engineering applications.
  • Experience selling or applying industrial maintenance / reliability solutions or parts.
  • Strong client-facing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into technical/commercial proposals.
  • Egyptian nationals only.

Preferred

  • Experience in heavy industry maintenance environments such as steel, cement, oil & gas, or similar sectors.
  • Experience with Rotating & Reciprocating Equipment including Motors, Fans, Blowers, Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, engines, etc.
  • Experience with condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, or reliability-centered solutions.
  • Immediate availability is preferred.
