About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and review structural calculations and design
Coordinate with architectural and MEP teams
Review contractor/shop drawings
Support client technical discussions
Ensure compliance with Egyptian codes and standards
Participate in multidisciplinary coordination and design review activities
Required Experience & Skills:
Strong experience in industrial & building structure design
Proficient in ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000
Familiar with seismic design and Egyptian codes
Capability to review and stamp drawings
Strong technical coordination and communication skills
Experience in large-scale EPC projects is preferred
Previous experience with Chinese EPC companies is considered a plus
Qualifications:
5–10 years of relevant structural engineering design experience;Experience in FEED, detailed design and construction drawing design, preferably for industrial, petrochemical, energy, commercial or large-scale building projects;
Hands-on experience in the design and calculation of reinforced concrete structures, steel structures, equipment foundations, building foundations, pipe racks, steel platforms and supporting structures;
Experience in structural analysis, seismic design and structural optimization;
Proficiency in STAAD.Pro and/or SAP2000, as well as AutoCAD and preferably Revit;
Good knowledge of relevant design codes and standards, particularly ACI, AISC, ASCE and ECP;
Ability to prepare and review structural drawings, design documents and structural calculation reports;
Experience coordinating structural design interfaces with Architecture, Process, Piping, Electrical, Mechanical/Equipment and other disciplines;
Good English technical communication skills and the ability to work independently in a design-center-based engineering environment.
Experience with international engineering companies, petrochemical projects or large-scale EPC projects would be an advantage.
Working Days: Sunday – Thursday
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible)
