Role Overview

The Oil Care Technologies Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving technical and commercial sales activities related to lubrication oil care solutions for industrial rotating equipment including:

  • Turbines
  • Compressors
  • Hydraulic Systems
  • Motors
  • Pumps
  • Fans & Blowers

The role focuses on helping industrial customers improve equipment reliability, lubrication performance, predictive maintenance practices, and asset life cycle management across sectors such as:

  • Oil & Gas
  • Petrochemicals
  • Fertilizers
  • Power Generation
  • Steel & Metals
  • Mining

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of products and service contracts in line with company growth targets.
  • Understand customer operational and maintenance challenges and provide practical technical solutions.
  • Focus on value-based and problem-solving sales approaches rather than price-based selling.
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer discussions.
  • Support customer training activities when required.
  • Prepare pre-bid scope qualifications, costing, and commercial proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and industrial clients.
  • Develop new business opportunities through cold calls, cold emails, and prospecting activities.
  • Maintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline while tracking KPIs and sales activities.
  • Coordinate closely with sales and service teams to ensure high-quality project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular pipeline updates, market feedback, and business opportunities to management.

Candidate Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Mechatronics Engineering
    • Chemical Engineering
  • Proven experience in technical sales or solution selling within industrial or heavy industry environments.
  • Strong understanding of industrial maintenance and reliability applications.
  • Hands-on understanding of vibration analysis.
  • Strong client-facing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and convert them into technical and commercial solutions.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Egyptian nationality is required.

Preferred

  • Experience in industries such as:
    • Steel
    • Cement
    • Oil & Gas
    • Petrochemicals
    • Mining
    • Power Generation
  • Experience with rotating and reciprocating equipment including:
    • Compressors
    • Pumps
    • Motors
    • Turbines
    • Fans & Blowers
    • Engines
  • Experience with condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, or reliability-centered maintenance solutions.
  • Immediate availability is preferred.
